Super Shot - The Heart of Community Health
Super Shot provides immunizations to all children and turns no family away for inability to pay. Your support makes this possible. Children do not have equal access to immunizations. Access is determined by the type of insurance the child has, their family’s financial status, the language their parents speak, and where they live. Publicly insured children typically cannot get their immunizations in a doctor’s office or pharmacy like commercially insured children.
“Access to health services is not just a basic need of children and adolescents, but a fundamental human right. Limited access to immunizations further creates the chasm between the haves and have-nots.”
- Dr. Tony GiaQuinta
Your compassion for children and interest in keeping our entire community healthy helps us operate four clinic locations in medically underserved neighborhoods, provide immunizations at 120 schools, and work with trusted partners to offer community immunization events.
